From pet dander to tobacco smoke, your home air can contain incredibly small particles that can potentially exacerbate allergy and asthma symptoms. While these smaller particles can be hard to catch for many filters, HEPA filters work to trap and filter even tiny pollutants to create cleaner air.

Our 3-in-1 high-efficiency filter includes a pre-filter for large particles, a HEPA filter for fine particles and an activated carbon filter for odors and VOCs. Getting an all-in-one HEPA filter for home makes replacement that much easier. A HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles sized 0.3 microns.

Carrier Air Purifier Replacement Filter Maintenance

Low Maintenance and Easy to Replace

The filter for your air purifier should be changed every 6-12 months based on usage. It is not washable, but we recommend using a HEPA vacuum cleaner to clear out the filter every few weeks for better performance of your HEPA filtration system.


How will you know when it’s time to replace your filter? Unlike most air conditioning system, your air purifier includes a filter change indicator and the icon lights up on the display screen when it's time for filter replacement.

Great delivery time.

"Tha SAME day as order was placed I emailed question about size. No reply from you but item arrived next day. Problem - you sent the XL. It is TOO LARGE for my 18S. Then I found in FINE print that it is not returnable if plastic is removed. I did not see this before I tried to fit it in the purifier. This being the case, I am unable to exchange it. So I’m stuck for $140. So now not happy."

Great Unit - No Filters - Pointless to Own

"Love the unit but its worthless without filters that are not available. My filter is at end of life so the what's the point of owning it. Shop elsewhere for an air filter that actually has replacement filters. I could see a one off issue, but looking at other reviews this is a constant problem that they refuse to solve. Hire someone at Carrier that can solve the problem or discontinue the units!"
