The indoor air monitor includes an LED light that changes color, very similar to the Indoor Air Quality index (AQI). Instead of six colors, the Carrier indoor air quality monitor displays one of four colors based on the information from its air quality sensors so you always know the current quality of your air.

With advanced sensor technology, the Carrier indoor air quality monitor detects particle matter 2.5 microns or smaller which are linked to possible lung damage, asthma,
and increased allergy symptoms.¹

Relative humidity, room temperature and Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs) are also continually monitored. TVOCs are a set of gases that come from common objects from building materials to cleaning products - many of which can be harmful when inhaled.

I can see my home and my area along with my zones and settings. We had forest fire smoke outside was awful inside was much better I also have a Infinity air filter. Any time I see a spike I look there is a reason. Plastic pizza cutter handle melting in the dish waser one time another time we had left the window slightly open with the wood fire BBQ running. Shut the window problem went away. It is very sensitive to location. I may get a second one for my bedroom.
